Pure Chiffon Silk Handloom Banarasi Saree, Multicolour Rangkat Zari Stripe
Description
Some sarees are woven, this one is painted by the loom. In the Rangkat tradition of Banaras, the weaver changes the weft colour by colour, laying down fresh stripes of pink, leaf green, turquoise, yellow and cream across a featherlight pure chiffon silk body. Fine zari shimmers through every stripe, so the drape lights up with each step.
